Windows Media Player shows no video when a subtitle file is present, what is the solution for this problem?
The problem is caused by a bug in recent versions of DirectVobSub (VSFilter). A solution for this problem is to use an older version of DirectVobSub (VSFilter). You need to install DirectVobSub (VSFilter) 2.33, which is the latest version of DirectVobSub (VSFilter) without this bug. Alternatively you can disable DirectVobSub (VSFilter) and use the internal subtitle filter in ffdshow video decoder instead.
