Will Lily provide APIs for languages other than Java (eg. REST, Thrift, Protocol Buffers, …)?
The current API is based on Avro RPC which supports other languages. However, we’re already thinking of a REST interface as well, which in our opinion will be more convenient to support other programming languages. We have a legacy of REST support that goes way back in time, even before Daisy times, and Kauri is our own unique REST-centric application framework we developed over the course of the past two years.
