Why “wrong” foot forward?
If you do half stroke japslap version with choco-foot forward, you will finish with your bad foot forward, which will automatically make you clumsy and you’ll lose your balance for sure. Hence, all riders start with their bad foots forward, and with practice it will start feeling natural, not to mention the fact your brain will know what you’re trying to do and automatic-japslap phase will come sooner than for e.g. bunnyhoping, once you do it a few times.
