Why Work in Thailand?
Thailand is a very attractive place to work for some people, the cost of living is not that high especially if people have some income from a western source and it is not difficult to find work if you are a native speaker. Although quite a lot of work is reserved for the indigenous population, unless you are an expert in a particular field, or you do something that really cannot be done by the local labour market, then you really only have teaching as a viable option for those who want to stay in Thailand long term and need to make some money.
