We felt that in order to be successful in this extremely fast moving age, our business folks, technologists and entrepreneurs needs to be aware of the most current trends, as well as have the ability to glimpse into future ones. For example, we are just at the beginning of the Web 2.0 revolution , which if you disregard the hype and look at the true value within, is changing our social fabric and the way we live and communicate. Companies like Salesforce.com are leading a revolution that started big changes in the way all software sellers and buyers look at software, ROI, etc. Lastly, the world is getting very flat, and we need to learn how to recognize the opportunities behind globalization as opposed to being reactive and stagnant, which is often the reaction of developed countries when faced with the upcoming forces flattening the word.
