Why was Beowulf a true epic hero?
Because he helped save people from harm from an enemy, that was plaguing them. He is someone who people looked up to, and that if Beowulf can do it so can I. Another reason is that his story is legendary and helped pave the way for other heroes to help their people, when they need to look at an example to help them defeat an enemy of their own. Because meaning it really happened shows that anything can happen, and that nothing is impossible, if have the willingness to do something about it.
