Why VersaMail can receive the mail from pop.gmail.com, if USB connection to PC is used?
Most likely, this error is not of Softick PPP, but of Palm OS USB driver. Type gmail-pop.l.google.com or IP address 66.249.91.109 in POP-server field in account settings, and you will use Gmail service without any problem. An error appears only during USB connection. If you use Softick PPP in Bluetooth or Serial mode, you can leave a standard server address.
