Why use SFX?
SFX helps to bridge the gap between finding the citation for an article in a database search and finding the article itself. When you search an SFX enabled database, you do the search as usual. When you find the citation to an article you want, click on the SFX button and allow SFX to search Wesleyan’s online and print resources. SFX will search the available options and generate a list of links. If the article is available online, you can usually click the link to directly access the article*. If SFX finds the matching journal in the CTW catalog, it will provide a link to the journal in the CTW catalog, so you can check to see which CTW libraries subscribe to the journal and if the volume in which your article is found is held by the library.
