Why two new degrees?
At Camosun, we recognize your interests and strengths. We also know that students come to our college because they want the advantages we offer – small class sizes, great faculty, applied programming. Our advantage is that we give students both the skills and knowledge that you’ll use in your career. We’ve spent over a year refining and developing the degree programs and have talked to industry, employers and graduates to find out what is needed for professionals and practitioners in today’s Human Resource and Marketing Management shops. A breadth of courses is our clear strength that looks into the strategy, theory and operations of the management of these functions along with applying this knowledge to fit client or organizational needs. Students will be able to draw on a range of skills to enhance their management/leadership abilities, including effective communication, teamwork, critical thinking and analysis.
