This happens when the Windows Media Player (WMP) plug-in for Internet Explorer is corrupt for some reasons. Unfortunately, Microsoft did not provide the plug-in to re-download for Vista users. You may alternatively use Firefox to watch your JumpTV channels, however, you have to download and install the WMP plug-in for Firefox for Windows Vista. (Firefox is not recommended as some features will be unavailable.) If you still want to use Firefox, the plug-in can be downloaded from here.
