Why the novella format?
We feel that novellas have been rather overlooked in the English speaking world. In, for example, Latin America they are very popular and we believe their time has come over here too. There will always (we hope) be people who want to read full-blown novels, but many readers now prefer their reading matter in bite-sized chunks. We want to encourage them to read and the novella is the best form to achieve this end. A novella can be read, for example, on a moderate length train journey giving the instant gratification many people in society crave. Also, we are very interested in new technologies and novellas lend themselves very well to the eBook format for the Kindle, Sony eReader, iPad, iPhone and other eReaders. The portable nature of these devices means that books can be enjoyed anytime anywhere.
