Why rainbow is curved?
The first two answers sound okay but are incorrect. They are curved because of the wavelength of each color. They increase in wavelength as you go from red to violet. Since they are part of the same beam of light but have different lengths, they curve. Try holding two strings of different lengths together so that their ends match up and the distance between the strings stays the same along the lengths. It’s impossible to do without creating a curve.
