Why is Space Imaging® selling the Solutions group?
Space Imaging acquired the former Pacific Meridian Resources (PMR) in 2001 to expand the market for its IKONOS satellite imagery. The PMR assets were coupled with new products, services, and employees to create the group now known as Space Imaging Solutions. Having grown Solutions into a self-sustaining organization, the company recognized it would be beneficial to spin out Solutions as its own company.
