Why is national interest so significant in the era of globalization?
In today’s inter-connected world, where all countries have to live side by side, the subject of national interest has gained more importance. Politicians must be able to evaluate the rapid changes occurring in today’s world with precision and diligence and find suitable ways to benefit from them. I believe one of the shortcomings of Iran’s political movement is its total disregard for how political terms and concepts have changed in the course of history. One of the concepts that has gone through transformation during the recent century is the subject of national interest.
