Why is Kadian so much better than MS-Contin?
There are a whole bunch of potential issues – not least of which is the brandname/manufacturer: different manufacturers use different binding materials in their capsules/tablets, and different capsule/tablet sizes: depending on the manufacturer you find that some tabs/capsules will break down/dissolve more easily, and release their active ingredient faster, when used in other way than the tab/capsule is designed to be used. MS Contin has to be one of the toughest tab’s to deal with when it comes to seperating the MO from the binding agent – pretty much most other tab’s/capsules release their active ingredient quicker.
