Why get a refill or exchange instead of purchasing a new battery?
First, its cheaper. Original manufactured batteries are usually twice as expensive compared to our refill/exchange battery prices. Second, its safer. Cheap Chinese manufactured batteries are available for most common laptop models. The safety issue arises because they design and manufacture their own versions of Li-ion protection circuits. Since we always open the battery pack and inspect the circuit boards inside, we know the differences between the original manufactured design and the cheap Chinese design. Original manufactured Li-ion protection circuits always have a minimum of double or triple levels of safety protection design. This is the reason why the original manufactured batteries are more expensive, and after-market batteries are less than half of the cost.
