Why don The Complete Recordings packaging colors match the DVDs?
The Complete Recordings’ color scheme matches the single-disc Original Soundtrack CDs, which were released at the time of the movies. The OST colors were selected before the DVD colors were finalized. Although they were intended to match, the DVD packaging changed at the last minute. When the CRs were produced, it was decided that it was better to match the color scheme already associated with the soundtracks so as to avoid marketing confusion.
