Why doesn the book contain a bibliography?
Because it is not a generally-accepted practice for authors of paperbacks in the horror/occult genre to include a bibliography. Remember, we are talking books here, not high school term papers. Ninety-nine percent of the book comes from my own research and analysis. I give credit to all outside sources. I chose to take the footnote/author note approach in documenting my sources because it lets me document the specifics of each source, put them on the page being read, and provide side-discussions and additional sourcing. This method is much more complete than a simple “bibliography,” like you would see in a high school term paper.
