Why does MC4 use Panasonic notebooks instead of Dells or some other brand?
MC4 Product Management Office (PMO) supplies ruggedized Panasonic notebook computers to units because of their ability to withstand combat zone conditions. We are currently evaluating several brands of notebook to determine how well they work within the MC4 system, as well as withstand the harsh environmental conditions on the battlefield. At this time, there is no set schedule to introduce new hardware system but MC4 is always evaluating the latest technology to incorporate it into the MC4 system.
