Why does Dell prohibit the reuse of the Use-and-Return cartridge and request its return?
All Dell products are manufactured to high quality standards. Dell does not recommend reusing toner cartridges because we cannot determine the quality or performance of a reused cartridge. Failures in printer performance due to usage of refilled or remanufactured cartridges are not covered under warranties. With the Use-and-Return cartridge, Dell encourages the return of the empty cartridge to Dell for efficient recycling.
