Why do vegetarians eat fish?

“vegetarians” who eat fish are NOT vegetarians. I’m a quite strikt veggie, and I find this very annoying. If you’re gonna be veggie, you have to stay away from ALL animals. Fish actually can feel pain. They’ve proved it by putting them into tanks, and then putting heath or posion in to see if they would swim away, which they did. Ergo they swim away from pain, ergo they would quite frankly rather avoid it. You can get Omega3 from other sources, so be veggie and stay away from fish, or stop calling yourself a veggie. Sorry for the angry answer, but this is something that annoys me. Ive heard some people even call themselves veggie when they eat chicken and stuff like that. btw.there are different types of vegetarians. Theres lacto-ovo, who eat dairy and egg, lacto, who doesnt eat egg but dairy, and ovo who doesnt eat dairy. I think thats how the riddle goes anyway. None of the types of proper vegetarians allow fish or anything like that.
