Why do I need to click a widget link multiple times in order to open a page in MySpace?
In order to open a browser window to the Papa John’s Online website from the Papa John’s widget placed in a MySpace page, it’s not as simple as just clicking a button in the widget. This is because as of this writing, MySpace places limitations on how Flash objects send data from the MySpace platform as a security measure. All external links from the widget are blocked from requesting webpages found outside of the MySpace platform. Because of this, external links from the widget must be placed outside of the Flash portion of the widget. This is why you’ll see the button at the bottom of the widget reading ‘Open Link’. When you click on a link button within the widget, the widget will instruct you to click on the ‘Open Link’ button in order to open a new webpage.
