First and foremast it represents and communicates our steadfast commitment to providing top-notch storage solutions for our customers. The Certance name itself is taken from words certainty and permanence. Both of these words are very important to us. Customers are looking for a storage partner that has been there in the past and will continue to be there in the future. As the worldwide market leader in tape backup products and data protection solutions, we wanted a name that would capture our heritage, but be built on our future.
