Why are the bottles a bit of a funny colour?
When you are using recycled material it is hard to get a consistent colour of your plastic. This is because the plastic used to be all sorts of different things and lots of different colours – so to get it back to being completely clear is tricky. We have worked really hard to get sorting equipment to make sure we use the best available plastic, but there is still a slight green / blue tint to the packaging. A lot of companies are scared that their consumers won’t like this, and that it will mean their product might not look so pretty, but we have faith that our consumers will support our aims to be as sustainable as we can.
