Why are some Bill Payer items paid as ACH and others paid via check?
Bill Payer items are processed by Metavante, our Bill Payer service provider. Metavante retains sole discretion when deciding to pay items as either check or ACH (electronic payment). If the payee accepts ACH, the payment is made via ACH. If not, the payment is made via check. The credit union has no control over this.
