Why are current alert systems inadequate?
Many people believe that our authorities are equipped to respond effectively to all health and safety issues. In fact, more than 90% of our authorities lack a shared system to immediately distribute health and safety alerts to each other and the public. While some alert tools are in place, they are narrowly focused, independent, and unconnected—useless for the daily alerts needed to enhance community health and safety.
