Why a 5ct or else emerald in good quality is so expensive??
It is not commonly known, but most emeralds usually have flaws. Emeralds of good quality and weighing more than several carats are extremely rare and costly. The occurrence of emerald is basically different from that of other beryls. It is found in metamorphic rocks, where the mode of formation restricts crystal size.
