We have appointed SMG-Europe to be the operator of the Leeds Arena when it is anticipated to open towards the end of 2012. SMG will lease the building from Leeds City Council and operate the arena. SMG will set all prices, book all artists and manage the running of the venue as an entertainment focussed facility. SMG have experience of operating arenas across Europe, including: the MEN Arena in Manchester, the Metro Arena in Newcastle and the Oslo Spectrum Arena.
