Who was Dracula?
Originally, Dracula was Vlad Tepes, a Transylvanian nobleman who led his people against the invading forces of the Turks. Tepes was a cruel leader but was considered a hero by his people for resisting the Turks. Later, during a battle, Tepes was mortally wounded, only to be turned by a vampire woman. He then challenged the then Lord of the Vampires for the leadership of all vampires and slew him, becoming King of the Vampires.
