Who was Adam Brody?
Adam Brody was a brother of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity who gave the ultimate sacrifice to save the life of a friend. While attending a wedding reception with his fraternity brothers, the railing on a crowded sixth story balcony gave way, and one of Adam’s friends slipped off. Without hesitation he immediately jumped to save him and as they fell six stories, Adam hit the ground first breaking the fall. The friend lived after the fall, but Adam Brody did not. It is in his honor that we, the brothers of the New York Theta Chapter of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, offer this scholarship.
