Co-op students admitted to Waterloo in the Faculties of Arts and Math in the fall of 2006 or later are required to successfully complete PD courses for their co-op degree. Co-op students admitted to Waterloo in the Faculties of Science, Applied Health Sciences, and Environment in the fall of 2007 or later are required to successfully complete PD courses for their co-op degree. Beginning in January 2011, students from the Engineering faculty will have the option of taking PD courses or continuing to take PDEng courses offered within the Engineering faculty.
