Who should replace Harry Reid?
For years there has been dissatisfaction with Reid and the senate democrats. From 2005 to 2006, Reid had been an effective opposition leader. He prevented Social Security from being privatized, etc. But as the majority leader, not so much. The reaction to the whole Blagovich stunt reflects discontent with Reid that has been bubbling up for years. It is understandable for Reid to act the way he is acting because Blagovich is unpopular. But it seems odd that Reid now has the spine to fight something when he hasn’t done so before. We always bitch and complain about Reid but never talk about who would want to replace him.
