Who sees a school psychologist?

Students who receive special education services of any kind (such as resource room support, speech therapy, etc) need to be formally re-evaluated by the school psychologist at least once every three years. Also, the school psychologist may evaluate students who have been referred to the Committee on Special Education by the Child Study Team. Some students who have counseling listed as a related service on their IEP may meet with the school psychologist regularly to work on social skills and to manage academic concerns.
