Who looks after pupils when they first arrive?
Your son’s Housemaster is the first person who will care for him, with a team of house tutors. Pupils (especially younger ones) are very busy on the first night of term, so that they don’t have too much time to miss being at home. The Housemaster may appoint a ‘buddy’ for your son, ie another pupil who will look after him for a while until he gets used to being here.
