Who is running the Science Learning Centres?
An open, competitive tendering process was carried out to invite bids from leading science and education organisations. The submitted regional bids were assessed by the DfES. Applications for the National Centre were assessed by an independent review panel established by the Wellcome Trust and the final decision was made by its Board of Governors.
