Who is James Bond?
James Bond is the famous Agent 007, a member of the British Secret Service. He was recruited by MI6 while serving in the British Navy. Bond’s parents were killed in a climbing accident. The fictional character is popular all over the world for his movies which mixed action, humor, suspense, high-tech gadgets, and women. His first major motion picture was Dr. No which was released in 1962. Several more films followed and the “secret agent craze” spread throughout Hollywood and the entertainment industry.
James Bond is a fictional character conceived by Ian Fleming, a writer. He came up with the idea based on his life and the lifes of his close firends. The name James Bond however came from a book, Birds of the West Indies, the book can be seen in the film Die Another Day as a tribute to Bonds origins.
