The current and probably final line-up of the band is Matt Cameron (drums), Chris Cornell (vocals and guitar), Ben Shepherd (bass) and Kim Thayil (guitar). This was not, however, the original line-up, as Ben was preceded by both Hiro Yamamoto and Jason Everman on bass guitar, and Matt was preceded on drums by Scott Sundquist.
