Who is eligible to participate in the RISE program?
A. The RISE program is an institutional program and it is expected that program-supported activities will be open to all students at the institution. The program should not deny participation in program-supported activities to anyone based solely on his/her race, color, national origin, disability, religion, gender and age. The program-supported participants are selected by the applicant institution. To receive salary support from the RISE program, students must be U.S. citizens or non-citizen nationals or permanent residents, must be enrolled full time in academic degree programs in biomedical or behavioral science fields at the applicant institution and be active RISE participants.
