Who is Chad Henne?
Chad Henne is a quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, who was drafted in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft out of the University of Michigan. Henne was pressed into service as the Dolphins’ starting quarterback in 2009 in place of the injured Chad Pennington. Henne spent four years with the Wolverines, and was picked 57th overall by Miami in the 2008 draft. He played sparingly in his first professional season, appearing in just three games and throwing seven pass attempts. While Henne started the 2009 campaign as a backup, he was forced into action in Week 3, as Pennington was knocked out of a road game against the San Diego Chargers, making Henne the starter for the rest of the season. He went on to start 13 games for Miami, throwing for 2,878 yards and 12 touchdowns as Miami finished 7-9 on the season. In July 2010, Henne married Brittany Hartman, whom he had been dating since the two were 14 years old.
