Who is BOMA?
The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) includes BOMA International, representing 100 North American and nine overseas association in Australia, Brazil, Finland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, the Philippines, and South Africa. BOMA International, founded in 1907, represents a combined total of more than 8.5 billion square feet of office space. Texas BOMA represents the associations in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, and San Antonio. Texas BOMA, founded in 1938, represents a combined total of 661 million square feet of commercial real estate in Texas and has over 2,000 members. Both BOMA International and Texas BOMA are very active at the national and state level on legislative and regulatory issues that impact members on a daily basis.
