I don’t think it sounds masculine at all. Whenever Adrian is mentioned in the boy’s section there are always comments that it sounds too girly – go figure!!! I would pronounce these 2 names differently: Adrian – AY-dree-an Adrienne – Ay-dree-ENN or AD-ree-enn Also I wouldn’t consider this a unisex name, rather a feminine variant of a male name, in the same vein as Simone, Gabrielle, Georgia, Victoria etc.
