It is an organization or a person who provides equity or quasi – equity financing for start-up and/or development of small and medium sized enterprises that have significant growth potential in terms of products, technology, business concepts and services with the ultimate objective of long-term capital gains. Venture Capitalists also provide active technical and management support to investee firms.
