i work for a official service provider for dish and i am a service tech(i fix dishes when they go out)the biggest thing i can tell you and this goes for direct tv as well,make sure your installer is certified,not some kid or nasty looking contracter that installs antenna as well,cause more than likely it’s gonna fail.The installation is the most important thing as far as signal goes,you may have guys use poles with no cement,mount dishes to roofs with no sealer,and use used parts.ask questions and keep a eye on the installer.it usually makes him do things right.
