Who founded Wasabi Wireless?
In 1999, our founders who have lived and worked for over 10 years with the New York Japanese community and having lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan, along with an experienced team of information technology professionals launched a web site nycjapan.com to help New Yorkers find the best of Everything Japanese in New York on the web. We were extremely pleased to find over 60,000 people shared our same goal to share the wealth of information. In 2002, Wasabi Wireless was created to provide the same kind of service to provide for the on-the-go, next generation mobile phone subscribers with our best sushi recommendations, sake tasting information, Japanese Event information as well as games, contests and more delivered right to your cell phone!
