Who first discovered electromagnetism?

James Maxwell came up with a book about his findings in 1856. Maxwell is most noted for his equations, known as Maxwell’s equations. His equations were incorrect although he made several attempts to come up with the correct equations. Maxwell was the first to come up with electromagnetism, and Albert Einstein took onto the idea. Maxwell’s findings about elctromagnetism laid the groundwork for some of Einstein’s ideas and the ground work for Quantum Mechanics as well.
