Who created Science Fair Live and why?
Science Fair Live came from the brainchild of a frustrated Middle School science teacher who wanted to have a science fair for his students, but his administration said “no.” They gave a variety of excuses, such as: “We don’t have the room.” and “We don’t have the money to fund chaperones.” Out of necessity, the teacher came up with the idea of Science Fair Live- a standardized, easy to use, online Science Fair website that is cutting edge (yet affordable). With the help of a former student, the teacher worked many hours during the summer of 2003 to bring you this website. We here at Science Fair Live hope you will join us in the changing the way people look at science fairs!
