Who controls PanLex?
PanLex is designed so that its content will be determined by the user community. A charitable foundation in the United States, Utilika Foundation, has the authority to modify the design, prevent abuse, and resolve conflicts. If PanLex becomes a viable project, the foundation intends to release control of it to the user community. Some data used by PanLex are controlled by the University of Washington Turing Center, and the release of those data may be subject to restrictions.
