We accept referrals for adult patients (age 18 years and older) from all physicians (family physicians, psychiatrists, other specialists) within the Vancouver Coastal Health region (Vancouver, North Shore, Burnaby, Richmond). Outside this region, we limit referrals to psychiatrists or community mental health teams requesting a second opinion. These second opinion referrals are also accepted from family physicians if patients have seen a psychiatrist within the past 6 months, and another opinion is required.
