Who can make lab reservations?
Instructors can reserve designated teaching labs by contacting UMD Room Scheduling. If a course (for credit) requires three or more lab reservations during the semester, the students in that course are required to pay the Full Access fee. No fee is charged when a course (for credit) meets in a computer lab only once or twice per semester.Other Groups:Special arrangements can be made for other groups to use the labs during times when the labs are closed. This includes some evenings, weekends, and semester breaks. Special needs such as Facilities Management work in the labs or ITSS work on the network or computer system servers would have priority over scheduling groups.
