Who can look at the national client data?
The national HACC MDS data will be analysed and summary information used in planning by the Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments and at regional levels. Summary information will also be passed back to agencies. No analysed data will contain any information which could be used to identify individual clients. In areas where there are not many clients, or where there are few clients with certain characteristics, the information will not be reported in any way which could be used to identify or affect individuals. There are rules which are followed for the statistical presentation of information.
